  4. Skills assessment:
    • Possess a suitable skills assessment for your occupation.
    • Must be current (obtained within 3 years of invitation).
  5. Points test:
    • Must score 65 points or more based on age, English proficiency, education, work experience, and other factors.
  6. English language:
    • At least Competent English required.
    • Family members 18+ must also demonstrate English proficiency or pay a second instalment fee.
  7. Occupation:
    • Must be listed on the eligible skilled occupations list.
  8. Health and character:
    • Applicants and family members must meet health and character requirements.
  9. Government debts and previous visas:
    • Must repay any debts owed to the Australian Government.
